Thanks to all of our amazing supporters, we were able to donate 15 dog blankets in the month of March to Salem Animal Rescue League (SARL)! Although this may not seem like a lot, we were also able to donate 2 outdoor dog beds, dog treats, and tons of dog toys as well.
Meet the Pups
Let’s start off with the dynamic duo of Scooby and Asia, who were both bullies that were surrendered together to SARL. We had the pleasure of meeting both of these sweet pups, and we are pleased to announce that they have both been adopted into their new families. We even had an opportunity to get Scooby his own custom dog blanket to bring home, which made this moment even more special for us.
Holly is another pup that we had the pleasure of meeting throughout our visits at SARL. She was such a loving shepherd mix that came up from Texas. Every time we went to pet her, she would roll over on her back and ask for belly rubs, and we thought it was the cutest thing ever. Holly’s path was not as straightforward as Scooby and Asia’s, but she eventually found her way to her new home after being returned for the first time.
How about some puppies. The next pups that received blankets were the husky mix trio of Anna, Amos, and Axel. It was a puppy storm when we went in to see them. They were all so adorable, and so far Anna and Amos have been adopted. Axel is still looking for his forever home, and you should all check him out here.
Chase is on the case. Chase is another shepherd mix we got to meet during our last visit to Salem Animal Rescue League. He was such a playful pup with tons of energy for fetch and whatever runs or hikes you enjoy. Chase is still up for adoption at the time of this post. Check him out and get one of his signature hugs.
Pogo was one of the final pups we got to meet at SARL during our last visit. She gets her name from her jumping antics when she gets super excited to see you. She is a husky mix that is always ready to play fetch and has the energy to do just about anything. She is also still available at Salem Animal Rescue League at the time of this post. Our Mission
When you buy one of our custom dog blankets, you are not just getting something for your own pup. You are also helping provide a blanket to a shelter dog in need. Putting faces to the dogs receiving these blankets is something that means a lot to us. It brings awareness to shelter dogs that may be overlooked for different reasons. All of the dogs we met throughout our visits were incredibly sweet, and it meant so much to us to see their reactions when they received the attention and comfort they deserve. ❤️
